Thank you so much for the kind words and well wishes everyone!!!
It has been
very busy around our house lately.
On July 20th, Angi, Erin, Liz (Erin's half sister), and I all trekked to the top of Mt. St. Helens. It was the fourth time for me, and second for Angi. We lucked out with beautiful weather (minus the fact that we got sunburned on the right side going up, and then re-fried on the right side on our way back down

)
Me, Angi, and Erin. If you look really hard at the left side of the horizon, you can see a white spot... that is the very pointy, snow-white, beautiful, Mt. Hood.... Mt. St. Helens looked very much like Hood before it erupted May 18, 1980.
Our obligatory "feet dangling over the summit rim, looking down into the mile wide crater" shot

You can see the very beautiful Mt. Rainier in the background, the famed Spirit Lake (this was a resort lake until the 1980 eruption totally changed it), and the mountain building itself back up (I think that peak down in the crater is around 800 feet tall now).
It's sure not hard to see....Angi gets up and busts her ass in the gym every day at 5am! We were standing on the very highest point of St. Helens here, and you can clearly see Mt. Adams in the background (yea, we have a lot of mountains around us!!!)
And back to the original topic... we made it official and tied the knot on July 27th!!! Some of my relatives were concerned that "Nick waited so long to marry (I mean, 35 years old for cry'n out loud!)"

LOL I am so glad that I did... because I truly found the woman that makes me a better man. I couldn't have dreamt of someone better to spend the rest of my life with! I love her right up to the moon and back.
We were EXTREMELY fortunate to have beautiful weather on the coast!!! It was somewhat cloudy, but that actually worked out better for our photographer.
This is just a snapshot that Erin took of us with our little Nikon point & shoot... But I think it shows how happy we are, and how gorgeous the setting of our wedding was.

:thumbup:
Thanks folks!!!
