Great pics, he looks like he is enjoying himself. Good to see you getting the little one out like that, I always prefer to get my kids into the woods and away from the tube. Some beautiful scenery there to enjoy.

Not a clue, but very interesting tree. Probably has something to do with either an ice storm or really heavy snow.
 
The colors on these pictures are great. And that black feathering on the edges... reminds me of pitdog's pictures. Are you using some type of pinhole effect too?
I need to figure out how to make my camera do that...

Its called a vignette; there are programs you can run a pic through to add one and can change the size streanth and such as well. Some cameras have the feature to add automatically but i just filtered it on a free photoediting site.
 
Thanks for sharing those, it looked like your son had a great time too!

I wish more parents would get their kids out and let them get dirty. These are memories they will have forever.
