Gentlemen,
I bought a custom folder from knife maker T. A. Davison via the "exchange" here on BF.com expecting a better than the run-o-the-mill slipjoint... What I received however, was one of the best custom folders for the money that I have ever purchased... For a fuzz less than the equivalent of one days pay, I bought a real cutting tool that I use (and slightly abuse) now daily. The natural bone scales, pinched nickle silver bolsters and the copper liners make the knife uniquely beautiful, the F&F is superb and the walk and talk is (as he said) like glass. And the blade is standing up to some serious cutting chores.. And even after a solid week's use in the field inside several carnivore exhibits while cutting zip ties, shade cloth(I work at a zoo) and lots of rope, I have yet to break out the old Washita stone to put and edge on her, although admittedly that day is fast approaching.
I just wanted to say, 'good job' Todd and I believe I'll be using that 5.00 credit you extended to me
in the not to distant future.
Best,
Anthony
