If you have ever wanted a true masterpiece in the form of a knife, this is it, Todd Begg's "Beggatti" a larger version of his "Bodega". The knife exudes quality, imagination and craftsmanship unlike any other and is another great example of his work. I’m the second owner of this knife, which appears to have spent 99% of its time in a padded case and only occasionally carried. The detent is on the strong side and the blade flies open and falls shut smoothly under its own weight. Blade is centered perfectly and lockup is early and solid. Slight occasional lock stick and zero blade play. The blade shows zero wear, but it has been re-sharpened. Razor sharp for such a thick blade and definitely sharper than other original Beggatti edge’s I’ve experienced. Also, one very light scuff/scratch near the tip of the blade on presentation side; only noticeable from certain angles.

NOTE: Although listed as Blue Anodized, the scales are definitely NOT bright blue as pictured in Stock photos. I would describe it as a subdued “grayish blue” or a “bluish gray” depending upon the light. Also the gold scallops are a lighter gold color as well. Personally, I like actual colors better because they are not as flashy as the bright blue and gold. Photos are of actual knife taken at different times; more available upon request,
