Todd Begg Clandestine Fighter

Thank you, thank you. After getting beaten to the purchase several times by others on knives at KnifeArt.com in the past (Most notably a Kirby Lambert Damascus 'Inferno', and most recently George Gibo's 'Skull & Crossbones' damascus folder.), it is nice to get in there first for a change. :)

I also had my eye on that Gibo, there is a Begg 'Crusader' at ArizonaCustomKnives that I can't believe hasn't sold yet (maybe there's not enough traffic on their site) that I think is one of Todd's greatest creations and is currently my favorite knife.

That is until he comes up with a new design and considering his fertile imagination, it may not be my favorite for long.

I wanted both but limited myself to 1 and had to choose between the Begg & the Onion at AZCK... Took the Onion. When I got to Knifeart.com, I was glad that I had turned up the Crusader, which left room on the credit card for the prototype CC Fighter. If the Crusader hangs out there for awhile, I may go back for it. LOL :)

I hope the guys over at KnifeArt.com don't get mad at me for using these, so in hopes of staying on their good side, I want to give 'em some free advertising... KnifeArt.com ROCKS!!! Awesome selection, lots of eye-candy, nice fast friendly service! Thanks, Mr. Connelly!

I've done some serious shopping over there recently. They really do get some nice stuff to sell. :)

I'm dyin' to hold this in my hand, but will have to wait until Mon. LOL

Tanya (Hi, how are ya!), I'd love to use this blade and put it to work, but it does deserve to be admired and kept mint, so for now, it'll be locked up. I'll just have to get a regular one. :)

Erotically tactical!?!!:D

They have had that knife for sale for a few months now. They even lowered the price $85.00. I can't understand why that knife hasn't sold, but then again what do I know anyway.

That is awesome, I'm envious! Todd's work is so clean and flawless. I really like that design, and that handle looks cool as hell.

BladeGoblin...

My prototype arrived today, turns out it's #002 :D This knife IS freakin' sweet! Feels great in the hand. Good thing I'm keeping it nice, because the kydex sheath doesn't want to let me draw the blade; it's very tight fitting. What a fantastic knife Mr. Begg!! Totally WICKED. This blade is so sharp... (How sharp is it?) This blade is so sharp that when I looked at it from across the room, sitting in its sheath on the counter... I still got sliced up!! (Ok, kidding, but still SCARY sharp and all business. ) :)

You have 001, I have 002... KnifeArt.com sold 003 (They had both), AZ. Custom knives sold 004... and that's all (for the prototypes), folks! Yep, I tracked 'em all down.

Jaxx:cool:

Congratulations, number 002 is even better, although I'm not a big fan of kydex, Todd does make excellent (kydex) sheaths.

I have quite a few of his knives and there is no way the blade is coming out of the sheath unless you want it to.

P.S. his leather sheaths are much nicer.

BladeGoblin...

I went back for the Begg Crusader. LOL You guys talkin' about it last week made me hurry up and decide B4 someone elso got to it. :) I've read a lot of your posts and people listen to you! See? I went back for the Crusader... :D

I'm not a fan of Kydex either, but with this sheath (if we were to actually carry these protos, lol) you will never have utter the words "it fell out...". LOL Hell, the Budweiser Clydesdale horses hitched to the lanyard hole might have a spot of trouble drawing this blade! It's tight. Brooke Shields' old Jordache Jeans weren't this tight. LOL ...But you'll never lose that blade, huh? ;) What a knife! Have I mentioned how much I like this knife??? LOL ...Prime steel.

Check out the new Begg fighter on ACK.

Larry, I held that exact knife in my hands the last time I was over at his shop.

I pleaded with him to sell it to me, but it had already been bought.

That is one slick fighter, lightweight and very fast in the hand.

Anthony check out the July issue of Blade magazine. They have a Lightning-strike carbon fiber by Begg. The grinds are outrageous.

There is a 'lightning strike' carbon fiber & brown micarta handled Begg "Clandestine Fighter" listed at AZ. Custom Knives just today. Check it out! Definitely a cool grind. :)

A folder is definitely what I'm looking for next. :D ...But I've got a custom Begg folder request in mind. :) Thanks for pointing out that Glimpse! It is a nice one.
