I'm wondering what those who have had/still have, either the Todd Begg steelcraft kwaiken or the Brous Blades T4 (feel free to chime in about other Brous' as well.) have to say. They are both on my list of next to try out, but I'm also very tempted to just save up and get a Will Moon. I have two Brous Blades Divisions, the fulls size in acid stonewash black blade, ti liners and CF, it's one of the prototypes, and a blacked out G10 mini both of which I will be selling/trading to get something new. I really tried to like the Division, but I Just don't.

I would stay away from Will Moon, search the forums, and go with the Begg. I edc a Brous 2.0 auto, on occasion, but stick with the Begg. I like Jason's knives but they seem to be over priced.

Thanks for the advice, I have a lot of the Reate blades except this one, so it makes sense that I get that first. There's also that new Reate, I can't remember the name, starts with a T. That's a good looking knife too.

Stay away from Will Moon. Many threads about him in the feedback forum.

Brous is overpriced. I have Division CF, Reloader G-10, T4 G-10, Bionic 1.0 and Bionic 2.0. Only like T4 and Bionic 2.0.

Todd Begg Steelcraft Kwaiken is excellent. Great design and quality built by Reate. Excellent milling On the titanium.

There's also the new Reate Torrent in M390 as well as the older Horizon-TI and Horizon-CF in M390.

Although T4 and Kwaiken have the same length, Kwaiken melts in your pocket since it's slim. Also, the Kwaiken is one of the smoothest actions you'll encounter.

Would like to try a TBSK but haven't yet... Had a half dozen BB's and the CF T4 was the best with the CF Reloader next. The T4 was the best flipper (action) I've had thus far, and I've had some pretty decent ones.

Thanks for all that info, I have the Horizon A in M390 and the Horizon D, and I like them both a lot. I never carry the D, it's just too pretty. I carry the A all the time and I love it, it's prolly my smoothest flipper.
I want to try that Torrent, it's just rather pricey right now and I'm trying to buy something besides Reate blades knives since a good 1/4 to 1/3 of my personal rotation is Reate right now.

I think I will sell my Divisions and try to get me a nice T4 in Ti and CF. Anybody got any opinions about that D2 steel he uses?

I have owned and modified 2 Brous Enforcer kerambits, kept one... bought the second because I never should have sold the first! It's in my pocket right now. I got mine for $270. I wouldn't pay his prices.

Kerambit's look cool, and I appreciate the fighting style they are apt to be used for, but I'm not really into that style. I like working man's knives, something I can carry and use. I also try to stay away from knives that show a propensity towards fighting due to the prosecution advantages you give the lawyer's who are trying to put you in jail. That's all theoretical of course, but it's always running through my brain. What would happen if I did have to use this blade to defend myself and there were no witnesses around to back my side of the story? I could end up in prison, just because some stupid jury got sucked into believing that a "tactical" knife proved I was a violent person who was seeking out a confrontation.
But, anyway, Kerambit's look cool. I did a bunch of Kali when I was younger and I remember doing some very small amount of training with them.
BTW, I don't know what full price is, but even $270 seems pretty high for that knife.

Well thanks, you've confirmed what I had decided upon, a T4 in CF. It looks a lot like the CRKT Liong Mah eraser, which is the only CRKT in my rotation and, admittedly, a kind of cheaply made poor quality blade, but man do I love it. It's a perfect shape for my hand and that is my ideal blade shape. I think the T4 looks like a better version of that, but then again I thought I would love the Division and yet, once in hand....

Full price is $50 more.

Wow. Well, if you think it was worth it, then it is. Definitely a nice looking knife.

And BTW, good job on the sobriety, keep it up. I'm on the same path. I know it's hard, but it's honest.

I had to put in some work to make it meet my needs... I'd bill that work at $50, LOL.

Too long to ago to remember (like anything past 2 weeks for my old brain) and I loved it. Should have kept it, didn't lose anything on it though.

Well, I was at a show this weekend and flipped a Begg/Reate Kwaiken and one of the screws came out of the scales. Fortunately, it got stuck under the clip so it was not lost but it turned me off of a trade. It was BNIB...stuff happens but that was pretty bad and I have never seen a knife throw a screw like that until now.
