I like a bit visual flair to my knives but Beggs are too busy even for me. If it had just a fuller/groove along the handle minus the holes I'd very likely buy one. It's a nitpick, but I don't mind nitpicking on a knife that's like ~550$ here.

Never cared for the Begg style.

The Bodega is one of the ugliest knives around.

At least this one has that ugly row of holes in the handle and not in the blade.

Yeah, that lanyard hole is horrible. The contoured handles more than make up for it though. More companies need to contour their handles.

Yeah...."meh" for me too. Lots of extraneous pointy "tactistabilicious" design elements. Blood groove!

Yeah, this one suffered from being scaled down and looks extra goofy. At least that silly nub isn’t built into the handle.
