Todd Begg Steelcraft Mini Bodega Flipper 3" S35VN made by Reate

Are they going to be all gray or is there going to be an option to have an anodized model (for example blue screws, backspacer, etc.)? I have enough plain titanium/grey/black knives to last two lifetimes. Nice looking nice though.

I'm hoping this is just the beginning of the Steelcraft series and eventually we'll see anodized models or perhaps you'll have to send it in. Also, upgrades like better steel.

We presold the first batch of 400 finished like this. You can always send your tumbled version like this in and get it pimped by Antonio here and it will become a new creature. We are working on many new finishes to come out on all of our models. This has been a learning curve for us and this is why we went with these two versions finished the way they are here with the satin finished flats and the jeweled pocket clip and backspacer. We have a lot planned and other models coming out soon as well.

WOOOOOOO just preordered my MB in grey! So excited to get my hands on this awesome design that I've always been in love with, now at a price I can (just barely) reach! February can NOT come fast enough!
 
Super excited for this knife! I went with the gray to change up from my blackwash Kwaiken.
 
The Todd Begg Steelcraft Mini Bodega are expected in February 2016 which based on the Steelcraft Kwaiken delivery probably means within the next 1-2 weeks!

Grey Mini Bodega for me to match my grey Kwaiken!

Dude I am legitimately like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting on this thing. I've got my money saved up in PayPal to pay the remainder which I sold other knives to earn (like what I'm told a responsible adult would do), now I'm just counting the days. Anyone have some hands-on experience with protos they can share, or just want to add some fuel to the fire with a bit of hype for Begg and/or Reate? Sometimes the best part is the antici...
 
I think with this knife the best part WONT be the anticipation :)
 
I preordered my Mini Bodega from Blades We Love. Yesterday I received an email...I was charged the remaining $420 and was told that these knives are only a week from arriving in the store!:D
 
Yup they will be here next week. Now we need to do our QC which we will do in a couple of days then these will go out to the dealers. Thank you guys for your support we could not do this if it was not for your appreciation for our knives and your passion for this sport.
 
Oh now see, that's interesting...I didn't know that you guys personally performed QC on these. Makes sense given that the Begg name is on the box, though, and I'm really glad you do it!

I have two Reate knives...the Horizon D and the Torrent. I can assure you that they run QC on all their knives, not just the ones with the Begg name on it. Their knives are fantastic and probably at the top of the list for production knives.
 
Does anyone know if the clips on these will be the same size as the regular Bodega clips?

I'm asking because I just got this:

... and I would really like to put a cracked ice clip on it.
 
It looks to me like the clip is designed to visually "touch" the similar textured extension reaching back from the pivot. This is true on the regular as well as the mini. Thus, given the size differential, I would hazard a guess that the clips are not interchangeable, strictly speaking. However, the screw holes are the only things that need to line up precisely for mechanical interchangeability, so it's the width that needs to be identical between the two models, not length, and so the real question is whether there's a any difference in that spec.
 
No the minis are much smaller but you can always send your clip in to be jeweled at the shop.

Hey Mark, have you guys given the OK on this initial shipment? I know they arrived earlier this week...looking like a good batch? :)
