Todd, the blade is 1/16" thick, but usually you use 3/32" (sometimes 1/8" ?).
your pics show a noticably thinner blade. what is the reason for this ?

Well Roland, probably do not have to tell you a thinner blade cuts better.
But I do it mostly to give you & me a variety? You could say?
