I have collected knives for a short time. I have had a few customs. I have paid over $600 dollars for a knife.
None have impressed me like this one. There is not a thing I would change about it. I keep thinking of it as my "precious!" I have never thought of a knife as that but the word precious just suits something so fine.
The walk and talk is perfect. The blade is ground thin as can be and sharp.. I am surprised the tip even exists it is so fine. So thin and light it can hardly be felt in the pocket. The pull is just right, plenty of resistance and when open it is VeRy secure.
Todd Davison is a master of the linerless slip joint. There is nothing about this knife that could be improved upon in my opinion. Even if I end up selling it some day I am glad that I was able to experience this knife! #560
Honestly i bought this for a nice light edc. It is so perfect I almost could not bring myself to carry it for fear of any damage or loss of "my precious"
Good luck grabbing any available knives by this fine maker.
Please if you have a T.A. Davison knife post a picture and short review of your knife as I would love to hear your opinion!
Thank you Todd for building such a fine knife and keep up the good work!
Shane
thickness shot next to 5 pennies (all thats left with a knife addiction!)
Showing the relief where the tang goes which makes it a jog and shout rather than walk and talk! Also the work on the inside of the backspring.
Another interior shot and yep, it cut me already while I was goofing around with it.
Todds pictures.
