His work seems to getting more and more popular lately. The design obviously influenced from Strider and even Medford in my opinion. His secondary price sky rocket... the Man-O-War knife often sold for 2K+

What do you guys think about the design? (pics from internet)

I have to agree with the comparison of a couple of Todd Heeter's designs, resembling some of Medford's work- more specifically, the Medford Praetorian.

His books fill up very fast, & as you stated, the secondary market prices for his knives have gone into the stratosphere!

I personally really like the design of the knife that's pictured at the top, in the picture you posted above.

I have a friend here (Seth), who was able to get on one of Todd's runs. I can remember he, and BF member, Nitaino, being very happy with their T.H. customs:

To each his own.
I can appreciate the craftsmanship in Mr. Heeter's work.
But they are absolutely NOT my style.
When I look at his designs, it's like they take the worst aspects of Dalibor, Medford, Pachenko and Direware Then chucked them into a cuisinart to combine into some obnoxiously overbuilt monstrosities that when wielded scream "Super badass coming through!!!".

Excessive gaudiness! I like it! Would I ever buy one if I had the money? Of course not. Nothing says art knife like a handle that looks like it would hurt your hand to hold onto, a giant price tag, eye poking colors, and a steam-punky Mordor-ish aesthetic.

Besides them being hideous, There's also that thing floating around all over the net that his knives are made in China and then sold as "custom" or "usa built".

What do I think?

I love how this guy stands perfectly still ( minus the tweak shakes) till the camera man say "ok go" haha. Meths a hellava drug

Meth is involved somewhere somehow with these knives. Speedheads tend to have a habit of picking at themselves excessively. This guy grinds at his knives excessively, probably driven by the same meth fueled impulse.

Among many other tells. I think it's involved in many more shops than most care to admit.
