Thomas - I suggest reading some of the wisdom in the posts on this thread.

I am assuming you are in your 20s as I right this - TB has a lot of good information to offer. You will get lots of info and some dirttime if you attend his classes. However, many get caught up in his stories, his charismatic speeches and message, etc. Unfortunately what happens is they then define themselves through the Tracker School. He himself says prove me right, prove me wrong. I say do neither, take the info if you go and again don't let him define you.
I agree. I've learned a lot from Tom, and later from Jon Young and Frank Sherwood ( http://www.earthwalknorthwest.com ) but I stopped being ONLY a Tracker student.
Here is my experience with the Scout Class. A class of 80 people.

Macclint,
Frank Sherwood is a great guy, he taught my Tom Brown Advance Standard class in October 2006.
Ron, if you're interested, here is a write up from my journal on Frank's Survival Trek which I took in 2006. Sorry for the hand written fomat in advance. (Also sorry that it's not finished)
