Tom Brown's Tracker Knife

I have always wonder about the who the maker of this one is. It has the Tom Brown Tracker logo on the blade (no other markings on the knife), but there are a few differences in it that I have not seen on other Tracker knives, like the brass pins that hold the micarta handles on. There are six smaller pins on each side of the handle instead of the larger three that go down the middle that you see on most Tracker models. Also, there is a small knife that fits into the bottom of the handle. The compartment is magnetized to keep the knife from falling out of the handle. I don't see it being a Beck made Tracker, the "Beck" name is not on the tang like most of his you see. Not sure if there is a way to identify if it is a Limbo made Tracker. Any info or insight on this one would be greatly appreciated.

I've owned&own several versions of the Tracker style knife and my guess is that is a made in China version or some other country that puts out low quality knives.

I haven't seen this particular copy before. The angle of the handle to the blade is canted, which is a new twist on the many permutations you see. The "saw teeth" don't look very effective to me--they look like just straight notches. I'd agree with Veesix, that it's a counterfeit from China or somewhere. If you want the real thing, I'm the only one that makes the "original" Tracker knife as designed in 1981. There are a lot of copies out there. It's probably the most copied survival knife there is, considering its very distinctive design. You can't mistake it. I hope you didn't pay a lot for that.
