Unfortunately, my only Tom Ferry knife isn't a bowie. I found these pics while surfing around. I'm telling you, if these are half as awesome as they look in the pics, I'm gonna have to find a way to get one of them. :)

One more pic; only this one isn't a bowie. It's pretty sweet anyway.

Danbo, nice looking knives...I am partial to the second one...clean, very clean:cool:

Those look to be www.bladegallery.com pictures, with the watermarking removed. Gotta say, Tom's work is even BETTER in person than in the pics. The knives are light and alive. The Damascus is MIND BOGGLING. Some of his tight pattern stuff you could look at all day and not "see it all". Check out his website: www.tferryknives.com

Yep, even better is right. He's won at least one, and I believe more, awards at the Eugene show. The reason for that is evident when you handle one of his pieces.

This one won best fighter at the 2002 Eugene show. That's some eye-popping damascus to be sure (photo from bladegallery.com):

I like his stuff a lot. Would love to be able to see one in person.

Roger, Blade show is the place to meet Tom and see his knives. Havent seen him in Little Rock yet.

Thanks for the comments guys. As for shows currently I will be doing the ABS Reno show, Montana, Blade, and BAKCA.

Danbo,
I would like to do that show , however with the Reno show in Jan and The Shot Show in Feb., it just isn't possible. Maybe next time.

Tom--what hotel is the ABS show held in Reno? Don't know if folks have noticed. Classic show is in LV Jan 16-18 and the following weekend is the ABS show. Anyone any idea of temperatures in Reno that time of year?

I'm strongly considering heading to a southern route across US so I can stay in the van and getting into LV for Classic and then up north to Reno for ABS and then deciding if I go back south or maybe a trip to show Phyllis my home town in winter.

Just not sure how much winter I want to spend driving the conversion van.
