I have a mint condition Tom Ferry tactical liner lock folder with Timascus handle scales and a handrubbed S30V blade for sale. Tom is one of the most forward-thinking makers in the ABS, and he has turned out some of the most amazing knives out there over his impressive career. This particular piece shows that he knows how to make a using folder just as well as he does an artistic piece, and that he knows how to make a user folder look nice as well.
This Timascus-handled tactical folder features a titanium pocket clip, backspacer, and liners, all of which are textured for a better grip on the handle of the knife and heat colored. All of the exposed screws in the knife, including the pivot, are textured and heat colored as well. The knife also features a floating stop pin.
The Ferry listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge from Tom is sharp. The opening action is very smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is near perfect.
