Just came across this one it's like new and has not been used. It's left over from a gun show business my father and I had a few years ago.
This is the first model which was offered by ABS Mastersmith Tom Ferry's under his mid-tech brand Tango FoxTrot knives.
Blade length is 3".
These knives are a slip-joint type folder with a revolutionary new spring system that knifemaker Tom Ferry developed. It has quite a bit more snap to it than the old versions that most of our grandfathers carried. Also the new spring is called the EVERFLUSH Spring due to the fact that the spine of the folder never rises when the blade is rotated. The spring is all internal and for the most part hidden. Blade Magazine just did a great write up on it in the April 2012 issue also. The folder is named the T-1 model and is available in either a 3-d contoured Blue and Black G-10 or in a smooth sided Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber. Both have a D-2 Tool Steel blade, which is going to hold an edge better and out cut most all factory knife steels. Plus D-2 is almost Stainless so corrosion is not of a great concern.
Price $175 shipped in the USA.
