Looks like a micarta grip - is it textured at all and is it OD or black/gray?

OD and very rounded but not thick. Texture is harder to nail down. It's not slick polished but it's not as "grippy" as the ESEE handles. I might can get another pic or two if you need, with more detail in the handle region...

Thanks for the interest.

I wasn't able to move it on the forums so I gave it to a friend's son who is a SEAL. He's on a "training rotation" now (in the States) but will surely deploy soon.

I decided that before selling it practically unused for 50% of what I paid for it (or less) I'd support the GWOT by donating it to him, the only SEAL I know.

I told him to use it and abuse it as he seen fit...
