Some of this below was cut/pasted from my "for trade" thread. I had an IWB handgun holster for trade that I wanted a kydex sheath for a Busse NO-E in exchange for. Tom Krein responded and I took him up on it after corresponding via email once or twice for details.

*Tom Krein and I ended up trading - sheath for holster. He made a beautiful kydex sheath with Teklok for my Busse NO-E. He didn't have an NO-E on-hand, so I shipped him mine, and he returned it along with the sheath in no time flat. Excellent service, great communications, good packaging, a very nice sheath and a great guy that I wouldn't hesitate to do business (or buy a beer or two for) with in the future. Thanks Tom!*

Planning to do business with Tom Krein one of these days. His popularity is rising in Asia! :)

Here's a pic of the sheath.

I am a proud owner of 2 TK7s and I dont think you could ever say enough good things about Tom.A true man on honor who stands behind his knives all the way and backs them up with the best service in the business.

Just got a TK 7 today. It has the best fit and finish as I have seen on any knife.Really love the design on this one.I have no dought in years to come Toms knives will be concidered at the same level as the other big fixed blade companies.I can't find even one tiny inperfection in this TK 7.
Thanks Tom.

u812,if you think the design and finish is great wait till you use it.My wife lost her fillet knife so i had to use the TK7 to clean and fillet 16 catfish and the blade is still razor sharp!I must say yours has a beautiful handle.Mine are both the G10 which is nice for hard use,its almost indestructable and makes the knife very flat.

I just traded a watch for one of Tom's knives. Outstanding knife and outstanding service. I would definitely deal with him again. Thanks again Tom.

I just got these two TK8's today. Course I used the black one before taking pics...DUH!!

Brown Micarta w brass pins, and a black G10 with aluminum pins.
These are among the nicest blades anywhere.
The G10 is not a pocket ripper but a true gripper. Tom beadblasts the G10. Wow!! what a difference this makes to the handle.
Note the false edge and how it wouldn't take much to sharpen it up.
The false edge is sharper than the tanto edge of either of my Spydie Lum Tanto's. A fixed blade and a Ti folder.

THE BEST THING ABOUT THE BLACK HANDLE IS THAT THIS WILL BE ON PASSAROUND IN A FEW DAYS.
Yes there is a passaround forum here at BFC.
It's called the
KNIFE & GADGET PASSAROUND FORUM
:)
