Here is a Tom Krein Explorer model, in A2 steel and Desert Ironwood handle, with a Gallardo sheath.
I carried this for a few months and used it as an EDC, it was GREAT! I'm the second owner... First owner, never used it.
Probably needs to be sharpened, it won't shave arm hair or neatly slice up a phone book page anymore. But it is ready to WORK.
It's a gorgeous knife, but my Deering EDC has kind of taken over my life, and the Krein doesn't need to sit on the workbench any longer.

Here are some photos from a few days ago... Hard to photograph ironwood, it either looks way too dark or way too light... It has more of a deep red color than these photos suggest, and the blade looks more used than it actually is. I just suck at photos I guess. It's a pretty knife.
