Had a fun time with the Calys today. My uncle owns a little grocery/convenience store (think Quickstop from Clerks) that he and my aunt run. I help them out when they like to take time off if I can and I was there today. I used both knives opening stuff to put on the shelves and take down some boxes. The regular Caly cut really well but the Krein Caly glided through everything EASILY.
The real test though was with a Sonic cup that I had. Taking the regular Caly, I chopped it lightly in the the rim of the cup to see how far it went. I then pushed the Caly into the rim to see how hard it was. The regular Caly did well in both but the Krein did much better in both tests. I used noticeably less pressure with the Krein Caly and it push cut the rim easily and deeply. And on the chop, the same amount of force had the Krein Caly sinking in about double the amount of the regular Caly.
Using the Krein Caly is effortless. It just moves through material like it's not there. I definitely need one or more of these to call my own.
And Sodak, I'll get these mailed back to you on Monday. I'll mail them to the address and name on the box. Once again, thank you for letting me use these.
