I traded a forum member for a knife(top of photo)

I liked the knife-- but---HATED the handle.

Wanted the handle grooves removed...

The man I traded it from suggested I send it to Tom Krein to get it modified!!(He was also willing to take the knife back--but I wanted to keep it)

Sent it off to Tom--and in a VERY SHORT time--

I get this back..

Who is this Tom Krein of which you speak?
He sure did a nice job on that other maker's handle... I bet if he applied himself to the craft he could probably make his own decent knives as well. ;)
 
You cant go wrong with Tom , Wheather You are Buying a new Knife from Him , or getting a Modification. Tom will always satisfy your needs. He is Tops in My Book as Well. Pete
 
Tom is a great guy,who just so happens to make some Fantastic knives,but you already know that !
