I have a Tom Mayo Custom TMX. Knife is New/Mint. Never carried or used.
3.5" Blade
8.25" OAL
Titanium
Stamped 154V & Mayo Hawaii
Blade perfectly centered
What makes this model rare is that Tom stamped it 154V thinking that it had Vanadium. Here is what Tom had to say about the 154V:
"When I first got it, I assumed that it had vanadium added (like most of their other steels) and ordered that sticker..........afterwards I found out I assumed incorrectly and got a bunch of the ones I use now.
It is actually Crucible Particle Metallurgy 154 Chrome Moly Then is no V. I immediately stopped using that sticker"
