I received a text message requesting a Paypal payment to symone39933@outlook.com from (646) 263-8315. I have a feeling this isn't you being that when I requested we run messages through BF he claimed his membership is expired and cannot send messages. Is this you or a scammer?

If he’s claiming his membership is expired and can’t PM the answer should be obvious.
 
Do not respond to any emails that are not confirmed via PM with the seller. The seller has PM privileges, or he wouldn't be able to sell here.

Someone got your email and tried to intervene. You may have left it on the site previously.

Absolutely, that was the "tell", I had to renew my gold membership this morning just to send a PM, I am sure you cannot post a knife for sale if your membership isn't active. This guy is still trying to convince me to send him a payment. What a scumbag.

Post the info in the Feedback area where you'll see a thread on scammers.
 
This happened to me a couple days ago. Someone texts me claiming to be my seller requesting a Zelle payment. Name wasn't anything like the seller's and I didn't give my seller my cell number, so instant red flag. But there are definitely scammers monitoring these pages.

Actually that's the same phone number that texted me on Sunday claiming to be my seller and wanting me to Zelle funds to Breonaguyton1@gmail.com. POS.

Go to your profile and check out all the posts you’ve ever made…a lot of the early ones from you are profile messages to other members showing interest in buying knives and you have left your personal email and phone # in multiple public posts for people to contact you.

THIS IS WHY YOU’RE A TARGET.
