Here is a beautiful traditional gent's knife from a world re-known maker. T.O.'s standards of excellence are beyond the usual understanding of"perfect". This is a feather light (2.1 oz.) liner-less design in "Lightning Strike" carbon fiber. The blade is a proprietary alloy which was made for the great German knifemaker, Dietmar F. Kressler. It's composition is similar to S35vn. T.O. built three knives from this super steel to confirm Kressler's positive findings. This is a "one-off" Model 5 pattern. The piece is 3 3/4" closed with a 2 3/4" flat ground Wharncliff blade. Mr. Overeynder used copper pins to compliment the LSCF handles. The action is crisp and tight. The blade sits dead center in the releaved for blade clearance trough. The knife is dead mint, freaky sharp and the F/F is top tier. It comes in a fitted leather pocket slip. T.O.'s standard Model 5 goes for near four figures from his shop. However, "baby needs shoes" so sacrifice; $595, PP shipped. First "I'll take it" here followed by a PM gets it.
