This is a real chopper. Its made with the "wrap & weld" method of construction. The body is 1018 and the full length cutting bit is Also's 1075. Edge hardened and tempered. Hair poppin sharp. left with a brushed up forge finish..The head is 5 1/2" long and the cutting edge is 3 1/2" wide. Filework on the spine. The haft is nice osage orange finished with boiled linseed oil. The sheath is pretty heavy duty. Made from 9 oz leather.
