I was wondering if tomahawk hafts were all generally the same shape. I've been thinking about getting a custom but would like the ability to get hafts from any vendor. They all run about the same?

From my experience they tend to have the same shape but are not all the same size. I am putting 2 Craig Barr 52100 hawks together and have 19" hafts that are the right fit. But I also want 22" hafts and the only ones I found online are made for CS hawks, so I bought 2 and now I have a lot of sanding to do!

Here's a couple of places I found hafts on the net. R.E Davis Co. has 18", 20" & 22" curly maple. Scroll to the middle of the page.

Here's a couple more sites. Hope this helps.

Thanks Prophet, I checked them all out but none have 22" except the first and they want $30 each. The measurements of the top end I'm looking for are 1-1/2" X 1". But I'll save a few of them for when I need 19" hafts.
