Hey guys,
I have had this tomahawk for about 6 years now and never used it... It was passed down to me by a friend of mine who was also a soldier. It is a one piece design with a spike on the back of the head and bottom of the handle. Anybody know what it is?

That does look like an early, first generation ATC Brend fighting hatchet. The pointy end on the handle was rounded in later incarnations. I bought one just like it when they first came out. Nice little tool. I still keep mine as I loved the shape, but most of my large bowies are better choppers due to the light weight of the hatchet.
