In the 70's there was a person by the name of Harold Hess that made some tomahawks. Does anyone have any information on him ?
Not sure if this is the right place for this. But who better to ask than makers themselves..

Hey Dusty, I've never heard of him. I just did a quick search and found nothing.

I have one of his hawks. He was from England and stated making copies of the Vietnam Tomahawk during the latter part of the Vietnam war and maybe for a bit after.

I have one also and have been trying to find some info on him. Someday maybe....

He was known for copying designs. I have a friend who knows more about him, but I always forget to ask. There is not much info out there. Seems he was just one of those guys who was in and out of the industry trying to capitalize on others hard work. By being in the UK, he was not very much known in this country. I'll see what I can find out.

You could post this on the British Blades forum and maybe someone there might have some info for you.
