This is a hawk forged from a high quality rasp(something like 1095)..Wrap & weld construction. Edge hardened and tempered..The cutting edge is 3" wide and the head is 6" long..Some light filework on the spine..Very sharp..
The haft is hickory..Lightly burned and stained..Then sealed with boiled linseed oil..(The very top of the haft has a couple of small beetle marks, not deep and will not hurt the handle in anyway..You can just barely see them above the head if you look)
We are asking **SOLD**Thanks

Looks great. Very nice lines on that one. I love how the rasps have neat snake skin look to them.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but im really thinking about getting one of these, my question buying is it a display piece or can I hard use this? I REALLY want to hard use this.

Yea, you can use it.Not a dumb question at all...If the head breaks we'll make it right..Your money back or make you a new one..Either way..The only thing I dont recommend doing is hammering in metal stakes/nails etc with the back of the eye.Now a 6" tent stake sure aint gonna hurt anything..Just use your best judgement..That section is not hardened and may deform beating on metal too long....Only the cutting edge is hardened..

I can't believe someone hasn't bought this yet. This is pretty much what I've been looking for in a hawk.
I've already spent way to much on blades this month, so I resisted buying this one earlier today.
Thought for sure it would be gone by the time I got home from work, must be a sign that it's still here.
I'll take it.

Thank you:), Got it..We'll get her shipped out to you in the morning..We'll send you the conf# tomorrow..Thanks

I just found the Wolf Creek Forge store.... I can see more purchases in the future.
