We have decided to upgrade our memebershp and offer our hawks for sale here on Bladeforums after being prompted by several members..
We are a small farm/forge here in the Appalachain mountains of Eastern,Kentucky. Lisa, my wife really runs the forge now and is a fine smith in her own right. Many of you have spoke with her via email.. Our hawks are all forged by hand and mostly in a coal forge. No mills, no lathe's, no power hammers. Just hand tools, most of which we have made ourselves..

This is a hand forged Tomahawk made with the traditional "wrap & weld" method of construction. The head is 1065 steel, edge hardened and tempered. The cutting edge is 2 1/2" wide, the head is 5 1/4" long. It has filework on the spine. Stamped with our touchmark. It has been etched to a very nice aged look.
The haft is a really beautiful piece of Curly maple("19" long). Its chantoyance is amazing in the light. The pics dont do it justice. It was stained with aqua fortis, hand burnished and sealed with several coats of boiled linseed oil.
We are asking $125 plus $10 shipping. Shipping will be priority with conformation. We ship next day after payment is recieved. We will ship internationally but please ask for a quote first. Our email address is phllpwest@bellsouth.net .Thanks

Thanks guys, just wanted to add this pic for flavor. This is the actual hawk above in the coal forge just before the second welding pass. usually weld in a deep fire but this is a "beehive" welding fire(a cavern with the front open) You can see the work piece this way..
