Forged from 1040 steel
Normalized and heat treated for a fine grain. I didn't do a Rockwell test but a file skates on the edge.
Differentially heat treated. Hard on the edge, softer on the head.
Hand made sycamore handle
Heat length: 9 inches
Cutting edge: 3 1/4 inches
Handle: 18 3/4 inches
