That's a Great way to open a Bottle of Champagne, That Is one Fancy Restaraunt, I like the Traditional/Frontier Style, But that Menu "Is Outa My Price Range" Thank's for sharing the Info. on this place !

Actually, toast buttered with marrow is quite tasty.

Have to Agree with you on that one CRR. Folks today really miss out by not having been exposed to some of the foods our ancestors enjoyed regularly.

I guess I'm a little too timid to hawk a bottle of bubbly without seeing someone else do it first. But I'd eat the marrow dish without hesitation!

I've eaten at The Fort several times, though it's been a few years since I was last there. It's a really neat place; cool atmosphere and great food. :thumbup:

There's a small gift-shop building in the courtyard that had some nice custom knives and, IIRC, a few tomahawks the last time I visited. They also had Russell Green River knives for sale inside the restaurant.
