8 lbs of cleaned up and portioned BC fatwood.

Fanno arborist saw used for harvesting the big chunks and portioning to fire kit length, Kabar/Becker BK2 for splitting all the outside waste off, and a Scrapyard Scrapper 5 for final cleanup and portioning.

Love it, where was this stuff from?

Also, you're not helping my recently acquired Scrapyard hard-on;)

You just have to look at selling this stuff
Does your house smell like pine-sol :)

My wife laughs at me when I smell my fatwood (ok that sounds perverted)

seriously bushman, leave some fatwood for everyone else!!! hahaha great haul man.

hows the traffic down there?

He is going to wake up one day with pine beetles burrowing into him.
Maybe he has a new cologne in mind for metro-sexuals "Forrest for men" or "Lumberjack by Python"

As soon as I read the title I knew it was about fatwood, man you really need to go into the fatwood business. Nice haul!

nah selling this stuff might be seen as unethical. :D :p :D

its for some woods students, close hiking bros, restocking my kits, and for the patio burner

Crike - I don't want to be anywhere near Bushman when he spontaneously combusts from all that fatwood. It's going to make a chinese firework factory look like a spark from my ferro rod in comparison.

I am really curious about this.

I harvested from First Nations land (Indians, if one wants to be outright rude). I got a bunch of bros in the Musqueam and Sqaumish Nations bands who let me hike and harvest on otherwise sacred land. The First Nations are the stewards of much of the region.

G'day Bushman5

Considering I recall previous post where you have explained why you have harvested fatwood after hours, do care to explain your reasons again here?

Regards
Mick
