Tony gets his wish with OD and Orange

Any chance on getting just the slabs to put on my current RC3?

Someone else asked the same question and Jeff said that the process that they use to "marry" the scales to the tang would make it so that they wouldn't fit properly without alot of fitting.

He said that, for warranty purposes, he wouldn't sell scales seperately.

Bummer.

I think Jeff said that they just weren't happy with the color or texture of the OD green powdercoat. I think it's all ready now, just need to do it.

I believe that was the first batch, the latest I think they said was OK, but they need a break and went on vacation.

No. They were going to offer undersize slabs as aftermarket add-ons, but got so much crap over it, that Jeff basically said there's no way in hell they're going to offer aftermarket slabs.

Just buy another one -- you know you want to. . .
