Morning, All the rough stuff was above and below us luckily. Someone close to Atlanta sent me this though.:eek:
hail-11.jpg

Weather was light around me (Alpharetta). The tornado sirens went off a bunch of times and it got dark, but that was it. No hail, now big wind. I'm not a regular here, just happened to lurk by and thought I'd chime in.

It looks like we just had really high winds 50 mph with some 65 mph gusts and bad hail here, the really bad stuff started just SE of here by about 15 miles. I drove through some of the damaged areas on the way to the range this morning and they were hit pretty hard, the range officer said his place had 100 mph+.

I knew I should not have listened to that guy in front of his trailer being interviewed by the reporter, he kept saying "it sounded like a train, really, it sounded just like a train"! Why do the reporters always find those people?

Glad to hear everybody so far is okay!

Plucker- We didn't have any freakish looking hail like that!:confused: Conyers/Covington got normal looking hail half that size just lots of it. Enough to put some bad whelps on some of our horses.
