It's going to take me about a month to figure out the lingo in that forum, but I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. :p

go go gadget canoe...............:D very cool.. your gonna have to bring that to my pond and let me try that thing out..

Jeremy, I have two kayaks in the 10 foot range that are perfect for river floats. If you're ever interested in a Buffalo run over your way this summer, I can strap 'em on the truck and head that way. Here's my latest baby though. No fishing out of this one yet. Just built for speed.

How bout some pic's.

They are coming - Had to take care of the honey do's first

Friggin T wind sat down a mile or so from the house last night - I hate it for them, but glad I had no major stuff to contend with today - When alll you can see is horizontal rain, it's not a good thing

Nah, I like to breathe, and I haven't been able to grow gills yet.

I took a kayak roll class last month and am going back for another in about a week. The classes are taught in whitewater yaks, but ultimately, my goal is to be able to roll that big touring yak.

I never had any problems rolling 180, it was the 360 that got me:D

looks like some great fun with that canoe - how stable is she compared to old school?

Canoe? :D

The orange sea kayak above is pretty stable. Those things have initial and secondary stability. Until you get used to it, it feels a bit tippy, but it is designed so you can use your hips and torso to rock it up on edge, and secondary stability kicks in as far as keeping you from flipping on over. "Edging" the yak in this fashion helps you turn it. That's a 16.5' boat, so it doesn't turn anything like a whitewater yak or a recreational yak.
