Pretty sure that's just a cypress. They're everywhere over toward west Tennessee, but not quite as common in these parts. Cool to see one sitting out on its own like that though.

The phone does a pretty good job of tracking via GPS though. The interface I'm using for uploads is a little screwy, but they're working on patches and fixes for the problems. With the phone, I can get a decent GPX or KML file to upload to a variety of trail sites.

Still, some of the stats are screwy, and I've been looking at handheld GPS units. I kind of like what I see in the Garmin 60CSx. Been out long enough that all the bugs are fixed, the price has come down, and you get a lot of value and features for your $$.

No seriously, I've been too busy to do any. I get a small break next week, so I wanted to try Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday, I've just got too much going on. I think the season ends Friday. Your cousin ever get a bird?
 
Yeah,, I send him text messages telling him he thinks he's to mature for us now,, and say things to provoke him, but it just not working

That might void the warranty you won't need,, Garth is my dog,, and I waited two months to get a set of scales changed,, Good luck guys,, it seems everyone says send it back to Busse, that's what I say,, or I might work for 75 a hour like the custom shop,, enjoy your butterknives,, lol

Ohhh the noooos, how long does it take you to convex an FBM? Like 15 min? :eek:;):o:p

Just means we'll have to get some of your Knives I guess. Will the Geographically challenged people who can't make Blade, get a chance to see what your bringing?
 
I would not work on 200 to 1700 dollar knives if were not confident I could do a good job,, taking the risk on your knives is one thing,, someone elses is another,, its all right ,, give em about 3 months with nobody modding, we will see what happens,,

Ok, who said what ? What has brought these comments out?

We must keep my boy here happy as i believe with the improvements hes made in the last year, he is a force to be reckoned with. Hell in tens years he will be so good we wont be able to afford any of his knives.

Horton is a little thin skinned but he dose good work for his few months of knife making and he stands beside his work. I would say this even if i wasnt his friend and cohort.

I stand beside these comments and will meet any doubters on the field of battle..........with my bazooka of course.

Carto, thanks Mang,, nothing was really said,, I am just fed up with some shit,, I'm getting down to business and gettin money making my own knives,, no offense to NativeAlaskason,, but he wanted me to try to grind a BATAC into a Sh BA,, that is Ridiculous,, they don't even resemble each other,, I am not interested,, and I would bet neither is Garth!! That's like trying to make a Silk Purse from a Sows ear,, I say listen to Amy and put 400 more into a BATAC,, then it will worthless with a warranty,,

Word.. I feel somewhat dated in the community. Like the busses I like are shit now. Kinda like old guard, tired of smoke and mirrors. And ignorance is bliss until you see what steel can do when made very very sharp.. And mostly what it will stand Before it dulls, or fuckin needs a warranty claim,, shit,,
 
Like the guy who stayed to long and asked to many questions,, and didn't just stroke fools over picture of the Sar 4. Or whatever new thing is coming out 6 days later,, sorry Mang,,
