Man, I'm gone for a day and have to catch up - a lot stirred yesterday.

I'm thinking about adding a "Save the Duccis" line to my signature...:)

Too much.

Off for shopping today again...:thumbdn::grumpy::jerkit:

Maybe have to stop by a liquor store and a smoke shop - while dodging the forecast of freezing rain.

Yes, Xmas shopping tomorrow.....plus having seen all these high end Malts on show...I might be doing some "special spending" for yours truely...:thumbup:

Might even stop by the good Cigar shop as well!

I imagine you get better views than rural Ohio.

I am looking for some help trying to find a SHBM variant which I think was in one of your posted pictures but it may have been Cobalts...not sure...the knife seemed to have a partial edge on the spine but in the middle as opposed to a clip...it looked seriously tailored as a user blade....black finish...was it one of yours? If so what is it called and were many made?

Yes that's it....Wow...did you commission it as a custom shop job? The talon hole....was that not done as per for Jerry to use as a bottle opener? As per Jeremy's knife? :D

I remember when I saw Jeremy's Camp Blood design and then saw this amongst a collection shot that I thought there were some similarities....it has some really well thought out modifications! What is the story behind this one?

Well, you can see some of the similar ideas on the Becker but it struck me as being quite close to this as well.....

If you consider the recurve and it's design as a fighter Tony's knife looks to have the Mr Mojo knife catcher idea inverted from the spine and placed where the talon hole normally is....useful if knife fighting were intended....but it also has the finger choil and choke up slope on the spine making it good for field use....and the spine edge is useful for a ferro rod or heavy wire....there must be a good story behind this one?
 
Tony's knife has been heavily ground! I'm not sure the of the hook on his knife! Mine was intended as a bottle opener user! He used it then sold it. I think tonys is a serious variant!!
