Well, atleast take a picture of the final product, I have no picture skills. Did you convex the edge, or leave it the way it was?

Good shit brother, cant wait to get this bitch back in my hands. You need to take some time off and come out for the trip. You can stay at my house while were in town. We will be out shooting and camping the rest of the time. We also have 4 bottles of Johnnie Walker Gold for the trip, keeps ya warm at night.

There is nothing Wrong with a Severtech Spartan

Aaron is a Machinist who Started making these knives after getting His first Busse (an A-2 SHSH Bird's Beak that he Beat the Crap out of) and finding out that Busse did not make a folder.

So, He took some A-2 and made the folder that He thought that Busse should make.

People liked it so he made a few more, several times now.

Some folks wanted a smaller Gentler knife with out that Nasty American Tanto tip on it and the Spartan was born.

Then He started in with the fancy Colors.

I traded Him a Satin Jack Straight across, back when Satin Jacks were new and Factory priced at $226.00 and the Severtech was $250.00 and just waited till I could legally carry mine.

Now the SeverTech is EDC and pure Theater When I pull it out with a Florish, WHACK and it is open and every one around tends to stare.

Even knowing that Automatic knives are legal here People tend to freak a little at the Severtech it is a SWTCHBLADE,,, For Real and makes the Sheeple scurry around looking for the Sheep dog.

Got to love the Law where you can carry one of These and a 1911, makes me smile Every Single Time I think about it

Edited to add, that Spartans I knew about were smaller knives.

I just got back from looking a Aaron's site and I see that they are Full Size now, I have not even looked for the last 6 years, I was Wrong.

PS

That reminds me....

Of all the friends that have ever come visit in San Francisco you were the one I saw the least... what was here that you couldn't find at home?

.

I won't speculate on that.

I'll just say that Guyon is clearly an adventurer. Yes, a man who explores the outer edges of experience, of what it means to be an American in the new century.

Maybe he was fishing?

I couldn't agree more.......shit, Coast Guard even!!!!

When I was lying on a stretcher flying to Germany, there were 3 Air Force folks that were flying home because of "Combat Stress" and couldn't take their 3 month rotations!!!

I understand, and there is something to that.

On the other hand, I've laid to rest too many USAF friends too early over the past 35 years. In many cases, they were closed casket funerals.

Now I'm bummed out.:grumpy:

There.

I think I'm caught up.

Mang.

Now ... back to the "endless list" of stuff I didn't get done while I was sick.:grumpy:

Plus, it's great to see "Tony the G" back.
