Horton, I found a cougar in the south 40. She took my credit card and left me with blue balls.

The turkeys were too wily today. Actually, the arrow-head-hunting-four-wheeler-driving-SOBs were too loud today. One such SOB totally screwed up a good gobbler who was headed straight down a pasture hill and into gun range. I should have peed in the four wheeler's gas tank.

I saw a couple of jakes up close and personal later in the evening. Two of them zipped by my spot and kept motoring even though I clucked at them. I maybe could have gotten a shot on the second (rear) one, but it was through some bramble and iffy. There were still a few daylight hours left, so I said screw it and kept hunting. I didn't really want to kill a jake anyway.
 
That jake'll have a longer beard next year. He just had a little 2" stub.

BTW, you can't buy beer in Camden on Sunday.
 
I got to handle the Crisis Card and the Snody folder today.

That carbon-handled-titanium-framed-damascus-steeled folder is the shiznit. Yo.

Horton, try batting your eyelashes next time you're in the Exxon.

Then you won't have to drive so far on Sundays.
