Actually living in the south we really under appreciate how good Memphis Wrestling was,, Superstar Bill Dundee and the King would wrestle in High school Gyms around the south, every weekend,, then the big televised show on SUnday,, Jimmy Hart,, Tojo Yamamoto,, Rock and Roll express,, man,,

I saw Bill Dundee last year in Jackson, I was like wahts up Superstar!! He shook my hand real hard,, and.said,, "HOW U DOIN BROTHER" in his wrestlin voice,, it was cool..

I hear all that,,,,,the old school wrestlin was the shit,,,,,,, I never watch the new crap anymore

I had a girl at a Hardees drive through once ask me if was Arn Anderson?:grumpy:

Ole Arn(or Marty) is from my county, he was a pretty good wrestler in HS.

Shoot mang, that was big time when I was young, we used to wach the real old school stuff when we were kids. We would get out in the neighbors yard and act like we playing the game.

The only thing we would really fight over was who was going to get to be "Mr Wresling #2"....he and his knee was the shit back in the day!!!
Every time we would see someone bent over we would do our hands just like he would and come in with that knee lift while slaping our leg to make it look real. Man those were some good times:D

LOL - I learned the "sleeper" watching Johnny Weaver and Wahoo McDaniel in Mid-Atlantic - My grandparents watched it every Saturday afternoon, religiously. Abdullah the Butcher, Andre the Giant, Superstar Billy Graham, Haystack Calhoun, the Andersons, Dusty, Nature Boy, they were all there.

Good times:thumbup:

Flair's my favorite of all time. I can't tell you how much I miss watching the NWA on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. A friend of mine has a massive amount of bootlegs and recorded old wrestling that we get together and watch about once a month. I'm building up a computer that we're going to put all of it on.

Sorry to get so off topic Horton my man!!!
