Sometimes I find it interesting how people like to talk about knives all the time. And when you put up a post with pictures(f'in awesome pictures) of you beating the shit tar out of one of the rarest, most expensive, SHBM users on the planet! People seem to find that for the most part unappealing? They would rather talk about sfno's they won't use! I think I am the one with my head in my ass again?

I thought your pics were great. You got some ballz beatin' on those - it is good to see and shows they can all be used.

Maybe you ought to have it stripped and some weird color gun coating applied to it. :D

I truly understand why the old HOGs were a little upset with some of the mass inductions before the SFNO LE because there are a few that rushed in that edited for sake of kindness.

Stuff on the forum has mostly been :yawn:. Maybe it's just the holidays...
 
yeah, it's dead as hell!! i hope everyone loves their SFNO's. with a down economy I feel Jerry will keep goin to the well! proven sellers.. a new AK or a SH Remake! I understand, but still does not thrill me!
 
I'd love to have a SHBM but I'm not ready to pony up for one - yet...:D

I'm still trying to acquire some other models before I go that deep.

I just got a Tan/Tan BATAC in the mail today. It is now my smallest Busse - that and the SAR5.

I want a GW and I missed the Coyote G-10 BAD at the Company Store. :(
 
man there is a dude in the for trade section! that has a kinda rare AD, you shoud go after it! a green on green Linen! coolest combo i have seen! he might get right with you!

That is sharp - it would go with my BM-e. :D

I'll have to see what I could squeeze out. Propane bill is coming due :grumpy: and instead of some cash this year I ended up with a NMSFNO.

Plus the SFNO LE, CG BATAC, and a ScrapYard SOD - :D

Naaw. I've just been gone ... in fact, I'm still gone.

I have to make the 'leap' and turn one of my SHBMs into a user. They just feel so good in the hand, it's clearly wrong to just leave them in the safe.

Yes, they're that good!

I only have a 'few' ... but you're right, I've really got to convert one. The balance is just perfect for me, the handle fits my hands very well (bare handed or with gloves), and it feels very light and easily controlled when I swing it. Yeah ... I might have done a lot of air chops with these babies!! :eek:

I'm so used to the FFBM that the SHBMs feel like slipjoints. [OK, maybe not quite that light, but you get the point.]
 
i went out bare handed yesterday!! my neck is sore, my back hurts, and knees ache< but no hot spots on hands............you get alot of work done with every swing!!
 
Nice pic's Jeremy.....my SHBM wishes are trying to be appeased by the logic that a Basic 9 and a FBM LE come in just under and just over the weight of the SHBM and can both be had with change....a lot of change....to a SHBM. Plus a DFLE is very much on the same weight/balance level of a SHBM and I have two of those....and still....I am thinking should I sell ALL those and go for a SHBM?

I would have loved the chance to buy them at their original price but lose one of them now.....or worse have one stolen....I found it hard having a "sentimental" Khukri "go missing".....and kit...especially "good kit" is always "coveted" by someone....and belt kit is always being taken off and dropped down for briefings etc....hard to keep your eye on it all the time. That's why a lot of guys just have a "ceiling" figure they won't go over for private gear....my "insurance" only covers me up to £500 or $750 at present rates...lose a SHBM and you would be well out of pocket....

At least with my FSH's I know I have a replacement lined up ready to go....both for less than a SHBM....

Man....it's a hard battle trying to tell yourself there is hardly anything in it....

BUT.....if I did have one...or any knife really....you've "got" to use it to appreciate it....or at least use "one" of them if you have "multiples"....

Right now I think I will save the cash for when the Hogzilla comes out....I only hope it is not done "huge 'N heavy"....too heavy to be a good user....what a shame that would be...

THEN would be the time for a SHBM.....

i like my camp blood in a one knife situation! but, Im not a big collector of things! i would rather have one 1600 dollar knife that I use, instead of like 3 skinny ashes, 2 sus scroffas and 2 hell razors, so i just got rid of the busses that didnt spark my soul! a FSH is a hell of a knife! I would take it over any of the 8 variations of Sfno's that people are selling right now!!
 
Oh yes, that does seem like a beast to me. I can practically hear it baying and howling from here.

Looks like a "barbarian side-arm" to me.
