My ass is at home. My son has ball games and a Hit-a-Thon this weekend. I'm coaching the team.

On one little island, the trees were filled with nesting birds of some kind. Definitely wading birds with long legs and long bills. They looked like some sort of heron, but I haven't found a positive identification yet. Some were gray/white. Most were black. My craptastic Nikon didn't do very well with a clear zoom (plus I was bobbing up and down in a kayak, which made focus an issue).
