Heres my Blade show score. A 1 of 1 Kiku Matsuda prototype top, and a Kiku kozuka on the bottom. These are hand forged and wicked nasty sharp.
And not cheap.

No Busses for me this year. I wanted the swamp sword but i wanted it right now.... I too may be a fucker like the Horton guy..

The OU31 Steel Kiku uses is really amazing on edge retention....I have a smaller Kiku knife and it's edge retention is up there with my best knives in Cowry X and R2 steel. I loved his 2007 Blade show SOG Bowie but they were just too expensive....more than a fat MOAB....his grinding ability though has him ranked as the World's No1 and the blades you have there are superb!

Took the sushi sword out and chopped with it again. I think im going to keep it and dress it out with some micarta, strip it, maybe have a full convex done on it. Sheath it up and use it.
