Just recovering here from Hogmanay festivities.....which is not a Scottish version of Knob Creek!!

Went back to the Glen's to see some family....Courvoisier VS Cognac is the drink this evening....settling my troubled "heartburn" from too much Whisky!! Put a splash of Port in it as well....it's like a drinkers form of Gaviscon....

Lovely place to drink the "real stuff".....nice "peaty" Malts....

There are some lovely quiet roads in the Highlands for Tony to cycle a long....the Distillery "Tour de Force"....:thumbup::D

Guys I'm taking a big step this week! I'm buying my own Paragon 24" Heat Treat Furnace
So I can do these swords and my upcoming choppers.

Oldest daughter is now engaged. :thumbup: Now, will I survive all the drama, not to mention the expense? There's another question.

I love my daughter dearly, but truly there is no price so high she will not incur it for a wedding. At least, not if I'm supposed to pay it. ;)

Meanwhile, I'm BEHIND at work. They will not be happy when I return, two days late. :grumpy:

I'll just have to shrug and apologize. Family first.

BTW, congrats on that new furnace.

I look forward to designs of the new Horton Claymore! :D:thumbup:
 
Oh, I have been doing my own heat treat since my very first knife! My current oven at my uncles shop was too small for swords and larger than Camp Blood knives! And I spend far too much mailing that heavy ordinance back and fourth across the country, plus the wait time! I already have the formula! Just needed more volume!! For the BIG STUFF TO COME!
