I got the "long gone"... I have to go in my bedroom and cry now... ;)

I chant that "there will be another" frequently. Or I chant someday my ship (canoe more likely) will come in and I'll have a full basket when my dream knife appears.

Yeah! Someting about them words "Long gone". Just yanks at ya dont it? Then your wife ask you " Whats wrong baby?". You cant tell her the real reason cause if ya do shes gonna let you have it (not the khuk) even tho you didnt get it.
 
The wife actually asked me what was wrong last night because I was sulking. I couldn't tell her the truth of course... I was going hide the box wham it arrived;)
 
The great thing about a sizable collection is that new arrivals can get lost in the herd.

Thank you brother Bookie. I have just started to get over my disappointment today.;). Hopefully Auntie will post a DOTD today. I am itching to buy a new blade today... Guess I will have to wait and see.
 
Wise man once say a watched forum very slow to cook DOTD. Actually that's a little white lie, just made it up, but momma says a little white lie never hurt nobody.

Wonder how many are anxiously awaiting a potential DOTD as we speak. My gums are bleeding but I got a hankering for something new too. Hanky's plumb soaked through.
 
You got your hope sights set very high but since I cried along with GB I'll go right ahead and hope for a Padam Baghe or a Purna hanshee for ya. Least I can do ya know.

While I'm a hoping for you I might just as well hope for a kerambit for myself, antler handle of course. And maybe a lottery ticket. Boy was I crushed when I found out you can't win them lottery's unless you buy a gosh durn ticket. Wondered why I never did win. Who knew?
 
Kermabit, Hanshee... I would do the happy dance if I had the chance to acquire either of those. My favorite is phillllll's design which was a Hanshee Gelbu hybrid. It looked almost like a razor boomerang on steroids.

There will be more than a few shed tears from many of us when we miss gems like that.
