So I'm cleaning off my bench and finishing up some several years old blades; including this one... unfinished in the pix.

It's a big knife... I have no idea what it's for. I made several of this class from left over 5160 pieces and they all (seemingly) have a few imperfections/inclusions in the steel (bought from Security Steel way back when...) which of course, don't show up till you've ground a nice blade.

and after making my first puukko a month or so ago.... I realized just how dangerous a "no guard" knife really is; for most people anyway. There's just a few things you can't do with one but oh how dangerous those two are. Anyway having been out'a the loop for a while, how have large guard knives fared?, (in brass no less). Should I cut this one down some? I'm going to re-join the "makers/service providers" here I guess so's to sell a few knives and offset a lot of "getting started again" expenses.

To my eye it looks a little big. I think trimming it up would make it "flow" better.

I've read of your older posts when I'm reading through old WIPs and such. I didn't realize you were a JS, belated congrats!
