Time for a giveaway! Nothing special, just a Tin Knife in 154CM. To enter, post a picture of your JK knife (or hawk) in action. Enter as many times as you like, but it must be a different JK knife each time. I`ll let this run until the end of August, then the winner will be picked by the number of the post. Have fun!

Ok, I'll play.

I carved this neat stick when I was out bushcrafting

Then I went veggie-crafting -

Shouldn't this be called woodcrafting or stickcrafting? This was from a tree, not a bush - confused...

I am just being a jerk - and having a little fun.

This knife was my first JK, and it is still a fine tool

Always nice to see photos of knives being used. It's hard to get action shots by yourself though.

Here's today's JK knife use- in the kitchen, not pictured is the onions and eggs for the potato salad.

fried up a pound of bacon ends and pieces - for the grease, of course...
sliced up a medium sized tater and a fair sized banana pepper - then fried them in some of the grease
while that was cooking, sliced up a couple of venison inner loins that had been marinading
sauteed the venison in some of the grease, covered with the other half of the combo skillet -- after it was well cooked and the marinade had reduced down, dumped it over the fried taters and inhaled.

Dacron line, monofiliment, braided super line, fluorocarbon? It didn't matter which I was using, the Rule #9 cut them all.

Thanks for the chance at a dotted JK John.
I've cleared out a lot of my PB library, but still have a few pics of past & present JKs.

I'll start with an O1 Tin Knife with a couple of different handle treatments and work up to the big'uns in later posts.

Good luck guys. :)

This pic is a few years old but still one of my favorites. We were camping with family at a government campground. There was a stump in the middle of the site that several people had tripped over. I decided I would see if I could improve things. I removed most of the stump and harvested a load of fat wood.
