I just purchased my very first Spyderco...a Para-Military!!! I have handled one for only about 5 minutes and seemed to love it. Now i just have to wait for it to come. Dang im excited!!

Nice buy, let me know how you like it, I haven't tried the compression lock yet.

Did you get it in PE or SE?

Yeah I know the feeling Sal got a good chunk of change from me this month. I bought 7 PE endura 4's. 4 in vg-10 and 3 in zdp-189.

Well, i finally got it and all I can say is...WOW! Fit and finish is perfect, lockup is rock solid, and absolutely no blade play. I can see i am going to like this knife. Pics will come tomorrow most likely as my camera batteries are dead. I cant seem to put this baby down!:D

Congrats.. as you already know by now, its a
fantastic knife.
Cant wait for the updated paramil coming out
next year (hopefully!)

The Para is a great knife. I actually cut myself at the store with one on accident when I was looking at it. You know they are sharp when you dont feel anything and start bleeding all over the counter.

Funny thing is, when i was playing with the comp. lock and inertia closing it, i sliced the tip of my middle finger. I didnt realize for about 20 minutes. It was a deep, clean cut that some how didnt bleed.

Well, here are some pics like i said. You will have to forgive me as i dont have a good camera, and my photography skills are about an equal level...

Yup I love the enduras.

As do I!!! the best Spyderco knife ever IMHO:cool: :) . I have three Gen1's (integral FRN clip), one Gen3 FRN and two Gen4's FRN (one VG-10, one ZDP-189). All are SE, looking forward to a SE G-10 model.

Cheers,
Rob

Congratulations on your new acquisition. It is a great knife, I hope you'll enjoy it for a long time.
