  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Took a few knife pictures today.

KYenglish,

When you get ready for some leather let me know and we will swap addresses. I'll let you concentrate on your school right now. I'm in no hurry at all.

I'll let you know when I've got some done, I have some different woods I think might work.

I save all the wood scraps leftover from handles, say the word and I will fill up a small flat rate box with a variety of wood scraps, and send it out on Monday.

Word, word word! :)

heck yes, that be great John, let me know what i can give you for it, thanks again!

I`ll get it sent out Monday, I don`t want anything for it, I have 2 of those big plastic pretzel jars full of pieces, don`t need them all.

Sounds good. I put a couple pieces of leather aside today that should be good for a sheath or two. I should be able to find another piece or two as well in the next week or so.

Not great pictures and as you can see I tried going to small and thin on the one on the right of the middle because it's ends frayed :(

anyway here are some I've been playing with on the left is black walnut, some nice rain in it to, and the left is (I think) some maple burl stock scrap I had laying around that I dyed with a dark brown walnut stain. All sanded to 1000 grit and two coast fo linseed oil (walnut sis always thirsty but this maple wasn't any better so I found two coats were needed.)

i tried some different sizes and eve got the files out for the one that looks like a mushroom (or that's what i was going for anyway :p)

KYenglish,

Those all look great! I replied to your email. Let me know if you don't get it.

I appreciate you making them. I'll let you pick me out a couple.

got it, replied (after a small internet fail this afternoon) I'll get some out to you tomorrow. :)

yay! thanks, I'll try my best :)

I just mailed out the beads as well, productive morning in America or what :p
